The Lansdown
Star FC will be continuing their association with The Lansdown throughout the 2010/2011 season so
keep your eyes and ears open for details on the following events:
A night at the Races
Christmas Meal (not on Christmas
day!)
End of Season Dinner
Can you also please do your utmost to get back to The Lansdown after your respective
fixtures on a Saturday as our association with them is dependent on continued service.
A Night at the Races
Star
FC's annual fund-raiser will be taking place at The Lansdown on Saturday 5th March 2011. All club members are invited
and encouraged to invite as many friends and family as possible.
There will be a £3.00 entry fee for
all those that attend (payable on the door) and The Lansdown will also be providing a buffet, which is optional at
a cost of £5.00 per person.
Please note that payment for the buffet will need to be given to Andy Herbert
prior to Saturday 26th February, however you DO NOT have to have the buffet in order to attend.
In previous years we have raised in excess of £350 for the club so please do your best to publicise
this event and invite as many friends and family members as possible.
End of Season Dinner
The
Club's end of season dinner will be taking place at The Lansdown on Friday 13th May 2011. Watch this space for further
details.
Star FC on TOUR
I can now officially confirm that Star FC will be going on tour this year. Keeping with a tradition that has lasted many
years, no football will be played, with the main activity being what we are all best at.....drinking! For a summary of
Star FC's recent tours, which have included trips to Valencia, Madrid, Prague and Milan search 'The Mole in Milan'
on YouTube and you'll get an idea!
