The Club will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary in the year 2015 and will be focusing its celebratory
efforts on 13th November of that year, this being the date on which Eagle Star Football Club first played a competitive match,
back in 1965. For precise details of exactly how long it is until 13th November, 2015, please see the panel below!!
It is the club's intention to get as many people who have played for it since 1965 as possible
involved in the events that it will be organising to mark the occasion of its 50th anniversary and will be attempting to both
get back into contact and, then, to stay in contact with as many of the players from the club's past as it can as
the date of the anniversary approaches. A new, dedicated email account has been established - StarFC50@gmail.com - to send out info relating to the anniversary to everyone who wants to join its mailing list but one of the most effective
ways of staying in touch will be to link up with the "Star FC 50th Celebrations" Facebook page, that was made effective
from 14th November, 2010. To do this, either search for "Star FC" from your own Facebook page, or click the
"Likes" button in the panel below. If you have a Facebook account already, this will add the Star FC page
to your list of Likes and you will receive automatic notifications each time the page is updated. If you are already
logged into your facebook account when you click the "Likes" button below, you won't need to do anything else!!!!
